Healthfinder Nurse

Description: UAB Medicine is looking of Healthfinder Nurse right now, this position will be placed in Alabama. Responsible for providing accurate and efficient telehealth services including, but not limited to, health information, health education, and clinical triage to the general public and health care professionals. Utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with established clinical triage and call management guidelines to coordinate and facilitate access to quality care that is cost effective and allows for optimal outcomes. Use effective communication skills and expert nursing judgment in interacting with callers to correctly access the caller’s health information/education needs and learning capabilities, and facilitat! e information exchange that encourages voluntary adaptation of! behaviors conducive to health. Apply the nursing process to identify and prioritize clinical triage interventions that are appropriate, accurate, effective, and reduces risk of adverse outcomes.
Serves as health resource person, educator, and patient advocate. Upholds the standards of the company-wide customer service program and promotes quality service. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing and three (3) years of related experience required. BSN preferred.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Posting Salary Minimum 41,038.40 Posting Salary Maximum 64,833.60 Employment Status Full Time Benefit Eligible Shifts Day / 1st Shift Licensure / Certifications Currently licensed or licensed by endorsement as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
