Description

Provides skilled nursing and patient education both telephonic and in the home according to Alere’s policy and procedure. Experienced OB RN’s can provide education, equipment instruction, nursing care, and care coordination to high risk OB patients in their homes. Individualize patients assessments based upon care/services provided and patient need. This candidate must be willing to travel to Dothan AL and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred. Current licensed Registered Nurse plus 3 years of experience in perinatal nursing (labor and delivery, antepartum testing, patient perinatal teaching). or minimum qualifications as required by the regulations of the state(s) in which the incumbent resides/works, required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills required.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Must have a current unrestricted Registered Nursing license and driver’s license for the state hired into.
• Strong assessment and interpersonal skills.
