RCDD Electrical Engineer

The Maven Group is currently looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join the staff of one of our clients based in Montgomery, AL. This is a direct-hire, permanent position and include an outstanding benefits package. The primary duties of the Electrical Engineer will be to design Communication systems for buildings. The electrical systems include voice/data, public address systems, nurse call systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, mass notification systems. The Engineer will be required to develop electrical CAD drawings, write specifications, develop electrical engineering studies, and perform cost estimating.
Ideal candidates will prosess the following:
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). Requires a BSEE, PE or FE/EI and a minimum of 5 years related experience in the A/E industry Must have excellent problem solving skills and communication skills Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD, and electrical design software such as SKM Captor/Dapper. Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit preferred. Must be willing to travel. . Travel is required for project field investigations and project conferences. This position requires a leader with a team player personality, a very professional work ethic and the ability to interface with the client on a daily basis.
