Description

1. Provides Intravenous Access and maintenance to all patient populations.
2. Assessments are consistently performed prior to interventions.
3. Aseptic technique is maintained at all times.
4. Techniques and skills reflect accuracy and competency.
5. Infection control standards and practices are adhered to and promoted with all interactions.
6. Education is provided to all customers on a level appropriate to their individual needs.
7. Communications are consistently professional and appropriate, maintaining a positive demeanor at all times.
8. Written documentation/communication is appropr! iate, clear, and concise and meets Brookwood Medical Center's ! documentation standards.
9. Behavior is consistently ethical and demonstrates leadership, integrity and trustworthiness.
Qualifications
:
Candidates for the RN/ Registered Nurse should meet the following requirements:
- Hold and maintain a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse / RN.
o Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
o BLS (Required)
o ACLS (Preferred)
o PALS (Preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years experience
