Assist with developing digital marketing campaigns to promote the business and develop our customer base.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to start their marketing career. Working in a close knit team, as an apprentice you will the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the businesses marketing activity. This includes office based activities but also the opportunity to work onsite with our customers on promotional work.
No two days will ever be the same, but some of the key aspects of the role will include;
- Assist with planning, creating, running and monitoring multi-channel campaigns to attract and retain potential customers, using own, customer and industry insights where appropriate;
- Assist with updating social media channels, websites and writing engaging content for all platforms including, online, offline and print. In order to increase engagement via social media channels.
- Assist with sourcing information to present in a variety of formats including content for websites, social media activity, online newsletters, adverts, printed leaflets and brochures.
- Assist with the organisation of events on and off site to promote the business.
- Monitor and respond to online enquiries, capturing information and direct to the correct team.
- Provide administrative support which may include telephone support, managing correspondence, postal services and ensuring internal online platforms are kept up to date.
- Take responsibility for the safety of yourself and others within your team to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and safe operation to protect members of the public.
- Report near misses.
- Follow company policies and procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when relevant.
- Promote a positive image of the company.
Requirements and prospects
Qualifications Required:
- Numeracy skills, GCSE Maths level 4 or equivalent.
- Literacy skills, GCSE English Level 4 or equivalent.
Desired skills:
- A methodical approach to processes.
- Demonstrate analytical skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of paid search and general marketing objectives.
- Demonstrate a good commercial acumen.
- Demonstrate good working knowledge of social media networks.
- Knowledge of Facebook advertising products would be beneficial.
Personal Qualities:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of their role within the business and demonstrate that they will undertake it accurately and diligently.
- An enthusiastic and proactive attitude, must be reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships
Training to be provided:
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification, with training in how to:
- Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels
- Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms
- Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools
- Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement
All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week
You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed
Future Prospects:
Possible full-time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
