Our growing team is seeking a Freight Coordinator to help facilitate the planning and execution of freight movements. The ideal candidate will be able to plan long-distance freight movements and ensure that all deliveries happen on time. The Freight Coordinator will work with the shipping departments of multiple companies and directly with the company's clients. Additionally, the Freight Coordinator will be able to manage multiple freight shipments at once, keeping track of details and scheduling pickups.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor freight shipments.
- Plan freight routes.
- Review and update the schedule of shipments.
- Receive and dispatch shipments.
- Maintain an inventory of available trucks and drivers.
- Monitor trucker's work status to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively.
- Keep an inventory of vehicles, equipment, and office supplies.
- Communicate with other businesses or departments.
- Arrange pickups
- Update PoDs
- File AES / EEI
- Process HAWBs and MAWBs
- Bill shipments
- Process all AFR related documents
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Follow import and export federal and state regulations
- Use CW1, SAP and ONESEE to process shipments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
