Perform! s clerical responsibilities related to a specific unit or department. Posts and reconciles department charges. Transcribes physician orders. Maintains accurate and appropriate patient information on the chart.
Qualifications
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience as a Unit Clerk in an acute-care facility
Computer literate (Windows Applications, HMS, AS400)
Other Required Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare
