(Nursing Program)Under limited supervision, plans, directs, implements and monitors educational programs for students enrolled within the program.
Requirements: MSN or appropria! te skill level in related field with 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in the speciality of the clinical experience. Where a certification is available the clinical coordinator must be certified. In the case of nursing the clincial coordinator must be an RN. In the case of Surgical Technology the clinical coordinator must have one year of current operating room experience and certification. Prior work experience may offset the degree requirement provided it is allowed by the clinical site. If an exception is to be requested a detailed listing of prior experience must be submitted to and approved by the corporate leader responsible for the area and the EVP of Human Resources. Skills: Ability to evaluate, design, and implement curriculum, testing, and/or teaching methodologies. Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. ! Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing! . Knowledge of teaching methods, curriculum, and education programs. Teaching and facilitation skills. Ability to teach and control the behavior of students. Knowledge of academic and/or vocational education curricula. Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
