Job Description
Summary
The RN -CICU oversees and directs the care of critically ill c! ardiac patients in accordance with established policies, proce! dures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
Manages nursing care for critically ill patients based upon established clinical nursing practice standards.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Provides respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring for patients.
Incorporates research findings into ICU practice.
Education & Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
