To provide professional ambulatory nursing care to adult patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases. To demonstrate specialized oncology/chemotherapy knowledge and skills gained through formal education and several years of training. To deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating. To coordinate activities of other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Salary Range: $23.23 - $36.27
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of nursing experience required. BSN preferred. Work experience may not substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. OCN certification required or must be obtained within 18 months of employment for locations other than Radiation Oncology areas.
