Director of Admissions [United States]


 

Job Description:

ROWI is an outpatient mental health treatment center for adolescents. Under the supervision and direction of the President, the Director of Admissions is responsible for all stages of the admissions process. The Director of Admissions will promote treatment services by direct contact with in-bound callers seeking services in ROWI facilities. The Director of Admissions is also responsible for assisting the Marketing & Outreach Director and their team in marketing-related projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with Program Directors regarding tours, assessments, and client admissions.
  • Answer inquiry calls during business hours and provide callers with support and services provided.
  • Handle inquiry calls and schedule tours with the ROWI clinical team.
  • Create admission documents and when possible, assist families with signing.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filled out and recorded in EMR system.
  • Ensure verification of benefits are done and inform parents of financial responsibility.
  • Help expedite the admissions process for emergencies.
  • Report all inquiries, admissions and discharges, to the programs and corporate office.
  • Manage the Admissions staff and run weekly team meetings.
  • Communicate special needs of new admissions to staff to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Serve as a role model to treatment staff, clients, employees, and guests through a positive, caring, and professional attitude.
  • Attend clinical conferences and marketing events.
  • Comply with the dress code.
  • Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attend designated staff and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain the confidential nature of clients and related activities.
  • Any additional duties as assigned by the management team.

Other Related Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to effective manage an admissions team of 5-7 team members.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Engage in appropriate written and verbal communication with families, referral sources, and other professionals.

Basic Education and Experience Required:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited school, MA degree preferred.

Work Location: In-Person in Newbury Park, CA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
