Attendant, House Utility


 

OBJECTIVE:
Services restrooms, cleans toilets, stall partitions, walls, cleans the sinks and vanities. Maintains assigned areas clean, spotless and free from debris, keeping Barona Valley Ranch clean and well presented for our guests.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment is not limited to areas inside the BVR only; it may include other work areas outside the building and/or other public areas. Work may take place under all weather and climate conditions; i.e., sun, rain, hot, cold, snow, wind and dust, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting.
  • Dusts and cleans all furniture; sofas, chairs, cushions, benches, artwork and plants
  • Cleans all mirrors
  • Wipes down all hardware, and polish all metal/wood work, etc.
  • Cleans and buffs all marble counters, tables and all stonework
  • Cleans ashtrays and all ash/trash receptacles.
  • Cleans and polishes all doors and door frames
  • Wipes all fixtures, lights, and lamps, baseboards and ledges.
  • Washes all windows
  • Always check to ensure proper operation of all toilets flushing until water bowl is clean
  • Sweeps and mops floors
  • Uses heavy duty machines to extract carpet in rooms and in guest hallways
  • Cleans and wipes down walls and boards
  • Re-supplies work area with necessary supplies, and replenish dispensers
  • Removes trash, debris, dirty/used cups, trays, and tables from assigned area (s).
  • Replenishes work area with ashtrays when necessary, and refill female sanitary napkins/tampons
  • Cleans elevators, elevator tracks, remove fingerprints from elevator walls, etc.
  • Cleans all vents and high hats
  • Adheres to safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Reports all unsafe conditions to appropriate supervisor
  • Always reports any repairs that may be needed
  • Provides excellent guest service.

NOTE: This description incorporates the most typical duties performed. It is recognized that other related duties not specifically mentioned may also be performed. The inclusion of those duties would not alter the overall evaluation of this occupation.

None
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Housekeeping and/or previous cleaning, maintenance experience is preferred

None
