Registered Dietitian

Location: Muscle Shoals Alabama

We're seeking a Registered Dietitian at our 90-bed center located in Muscle Shoals, AL. Our center has a good survey history and specialized short term Rehab Recovery Suites.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Completing comprehensive nutrition assessments for all residents and incorporating nutrition interventions into the individualized interdisciplinary plan of care for residents as indicated.
• Insuring that all assessments and care plans meet professional standards of practice, reflect current evidence-based practice, and are in full compliance with all applicable regulatory statutes.
• Participating with the interdisciplinary teams to provide professional guidance for assessing and implementing care strategies and monitoring nutrition and hydration status of residents

Job Requirements :

• Bachelors degree required.
• Active current Registered Dietitian or RD eligible pending successful completion of the

registration examination. Licensed in states where required.

• Demonstrated expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably in geriatric and rehabilitation care

practices in the skilled nursing environment.

• Possess knowledge of all applicable local, state and federal and regulatory statues and

guidelines pertaining to healthcare in the skilled nursing setting.

• Good communication, computer and critical thinking skills and the ability to read, interpret and analyze reports.
