Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Practice physician for a hospital-owned clinic in North Eastern Alabama. There will be one physician in the clinic, with the possibility of adding a Nurse Practitioner in the future. Shared call coverage.
Hospital Description
A 60-bed, full-service facility, is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital offers a wide range of services including 24-hour emergency service, an intensive care unit, medical/surgical care; a swing-bed unit, home care and hospice services, general surgery, gastroenterology, and urology. Other services include diagnostic imaging, including x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, mammography and rehabilitation including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Also offers respiratory care and diagnostic laboratory services.
Community Description
A wonderful community located near to Weiss Lake, a 30,200 acre impoundment of the Coosa, Chattooga, and Little Rivers offering 447 miles of shoreline with shallow flats, underwater dropoffs, deep channels and large coves.
