The License Practical Nurse (LPN) provides comprehensive mental health nursing care including, but not limited to, executing psyc! hiatrist orders, administering medications, and assisting in examinations and treatment of patients. Applies nursing techniques required in the care, treatment and referrals of inmates.
- Must have active Alabama, LPN license, certificate of completion from an accredited nursing program
- One (1) year experience working in psychiatry and/or addictions, preferably in a correctional environment.
