The New Products Development Design Engineer will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems in the space of compression technology (industrial compressors). Including activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components.
As a New Products Development Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
- Adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
- Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
- Working together with people from the business unit (specifying activities, planning of activities, and giving explanations on technical issues)
- Communicating with direct team and supervisor and presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technology background
- Have understanding and knowledge of structural analysis
- Have understanding and knowledge of component modelling 2D/3D
- Be familiar with NX, Ansys software
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Have good interpersonal skills with pro-active attitude and ability to solve problems
- Understand compression technology with special focus on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors - will be seen as an asset
