Duties include:
- Coordinating all aspects of patient care, including scheduling
- Participating in community relations for the agency
Other requirements include:
- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- At least 3 years of experience in general nursing
- Two years of home health and/or hospice nursing experience, including one year of home care and/or hospice management experience
- Current Alabama registered nurse license
- Ability to cope with the emotional stress of patients and their families
- Willingness to work in home environments of patients who may have values or standards different from your own
- Ability to turn, lift, carry and otherwise transport patient
- Ability to communic! ate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Respect! ing the patient’s privacy and maintaining confidentiality
- Current Alabama driver’s license and automobile liability insurance
- CPR Certification
