Description: Baptist Healthcare of Alabama is at present looking to employ PCT (Patient Care Tech) right now, this job will be placed in Alabama. Detailed specification about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. High School graduate or equivalent and CPR certification required. Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA) or complet! ion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student (i.e. completion of "Nursing Fundamentals" course which includes assistance with activities of daily living, vitals signs, etc. ) is required.
Medical terminology training preferred. Must have knowledge of body mechanics, basic safety, principles of physical care and comfort, ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns, and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
