For detail informations about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Job Summary: The Clinical Manager will be responsible for the supervision of all employees as assigned. The Clinical Manager is a certified and/or licensed health care provider who is responsible and accountable for meeting or exceeding the Standard of Care as outlined by the appropriate County EMS Authority, State Department of Health and/or State Board of Nursing and Rural/Metro Ambulance. Acting as a! Clinical Expert, oversees and assures the compliance of protocols, policies and procedures for emergency and non-emergency transports. Works in conjunction with the Training Department to manage and develop continuing education training and improvements. Serves as a consultant to clinical specialty teams on QI/Education issues and assists with the development of performance indicators.

Operational Objectives
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all Clinical staff and Clinical Committees.
- Acts as resident Clinical Expert as stated by Certification/License.
- Maintain constant up-to-date- knowledge and records of all current protocols issued by the regulating agencies pertaining to ambulance service and critical care transport services.
- Monitors on duty staffing to ensure availability of resources for timely service delivery.
- Available to support Staff with ! immediate supply, equipment, and logistical support.
- ! Management of assigned employees.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of EMT, EMT-Ps and RNâs.
- Ensures services delivered are clinically appropriate and in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
- Produces written and electronic communications to keep staff members informed about system changes and updated information.
- Oversight that crews meet and exceed Contractual response times.
- Represent the Company by being courteous, professional, and a patient advocate.
- Operate and drive an ambulance with regard to state and company safety policies.
- Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with Communications Center.
- Comply with all protocols for treatment and transportation of the sick and injured as defined by the Company, local, and regional Medical Control.
- Maintain and replenish vehicle, equipment and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance ! while maintaining a courteous, professional, and ethical behavior while working cooperatively with other members of the health care system, co-workers, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned including those specific to the local operation.

- Ability to accurately map to a designation.
- Practice within your certification skill set.
- Provide general medical care and treatment to patients in both emergent and non-emergent settings as defined by state and local regulatory agencies. Ability to perform ALS functions, following protocols set forth by the State when needed.
- Neatly and accurately document pertinent patient information on all required forms/documents. (Patient Care Records, Supplies, Medicare Signature Forms, and PCS forms) when necessary.
- Maintain a safe and healthy workplace in accorda! nce with all appropriate OSHA standards, company policies and local sta! ndard operating procedures.
- Complies and enforces all policies and procedures.
- Ensures and inspects paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
- Responsible for escalating concerns regarding questionable paperwork to appropriate management.
- Has successfully completed all required Compliance Training within the required time period.
- Has had no compliance related corrective action during the current review period. Training
- Ensure that all required Certifications/License are current and remain current.
- Attend all Company required OSHA training, annual training, and all mandatory Company updates.
- Complete the training in the allotted time the Company sets.
- Maintain knowledge of job and medical field.
- Keep current on training for new equipment, procedures, and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Current state Paramedic certification or Registered ! Nurse License as required by County or State.
- Current CPR Pro certification card
- Current ACLS card
- Current state Driverâs License in good standing.
- Satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Companyâs Driving Policy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and medical agencies to provide the highest level of patient care.
- Ability to read and interpret all required documents and write required reports and correspondence.
- Other qualifications/certifications specific to the local operation and/or contract requirements.
- Satisfactorily meet Company physical assessments/tests.
