Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receives daily inbound POS, supplier and administrative support materials.
  • Accurately documents received product and logs all received items during the day to include date received, carrier, description, quantity and not damaged upon receipt.
  • Examines stock to verify conformance to quality and quantity ordered.
  • Sort and distribute to all Sales Representatives and other personnel as required to include specific suppliers requiring notification of POS arrival.
  • Pull and stage all requested POS daily for Sales Representatives in town as well as nightly out of town routes/cross-dock transfers.
  • Prepare POS and ship requested supplier or Odom support material to other Odom locations. To be completed twice weekly for transfer days.
  • Set up and maintain individual Sales Representatives POS cage areas. To include local supplier cages.
  • Maintain and distribute all tap handles for driver delivery next day, excluding Fridays, in town and out of town needs.
    • Communicates any needs and issues regarding tap handles to immediate supervisor and Brand Manager.
  • Helps to ensure a safe and clean working area during shift by discarding of trash and empty boxes as needed.
  • Performs essential job duties efficiently, accurately and safely in a time sensitive manner due to POS requests.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Beverage distribution or grocery retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to carry out instructions that are furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to prioritize and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and uses hands and fingers to operate a keyboard, mouse, telephone to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Pallet jack (must complete training) and hand carts will be used to transport products in a safe manner.
  • Must have complete visual ability to minimize the risk of personal or property damage.
