About the Position
As the Professional Experience Placement (PEP) Compliance Officer, you are responsible for ensuring student placements are coordinated successfully and in a timely manner. Working closely with academic staff and professional/industry partners within the Faculty of Health Placement Officer Hub, you’ll undertake a broad range of operational activities in support of student placements. Your duties will include recruitment of placements, coordination of student allocation to placements, processing of placement contracts and invoices, compliance checks, data entry and database maintenance.


About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Completion of a Certificate IV with extensive work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in student placements and education/training.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain self-motivation and discipline and achieve successful outcomes for customers within identified and agreed timeframes.
  • Proficiency in the use of databases and computer software and a capacity to evaluate trends and maintain accurate student records.
  • The ability to effectively engage in proactive teamwork recognising the abilities of others and utilising cooperative approaches.
  • Demonstrable ability to conduct effective administration duties to a high level of competence, with attention to detail, and where appropriate maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an understanding of the principles of customer service to prove a professional approach to meeting the placement needs of students.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5/6. The base salary will be in the range $70,648 - $88,743 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $82,658 - $103,829 per annum including 17% superannuation.
