Job Description
Summary:
The RN-Cardiovascular provides direct nursing care for cardiovascular patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
Implements and monitors patient care plans
Monitors, records and communicate! s patient condition as appropriate
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Education & Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
required within 1 year of hire/transfer into the job
Basic Life Support
required within 30 days of hire/transfer into the job
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama required by date of hire
