Description
The Nurse Educator possess a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in the specialized area of Cardiac nursing. The Nurse Educator is responsible for the organization, administration, continued development, evaluation and effectiveness of educational programs presented to the cardiac care staff.
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN required. Masters degree in nursing with an emp! hasis in cardiac/critical care nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cardiac care nursing area; mastery of principles and practice of cardiac care nursing required; Adult education experience preferred; excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills using the English language required; Independent judgement, organizational ability and initiative are required; PC skills for word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required.
- License to practive as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current CPI certification.
