Prostate Cancer
A small Biotech enters their 13th year of operation with one of the industry’s hottest Oncology products. They are looking to add an a few MSLs to their already stellar team. This West Coast organization is very dynamic and in the world of Oncology, they have quickly become a well-known entity. This company is truly poised for continued success because of their promising pipeline and you can be an integral part of it.
Responsibilities:
This senior-level MSL will be responsible for the clinical educa! tion of Oncologists and Urologists, and although you will supp! ort the sales organization, you will not be responsible for promotional or selling programs. The main duties include presenting clinical information about their break-through prostate cancer product. You will be meeting with medical thought leaders in academic centers and teaching hospitals primarily, presenting information in one-on-one meetings and in public forums; a great deal of public speaking is required. The MSL will also identify and develop advocates for the company for speaker programs and formulary decisions, providing them with literature searches, slides and other clinical information. Overnight travel is expected to be 35-45%.
Responsibilities:
1. Gulf Coast: LA, MS, AL, and Panhandle
2. Philadelphia/New Jersey
3. Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Ohio
4. San Francisco
Qualifications:
- Post graduate degree preferred (MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD). The company will also consider Nurses and Physician’s Assistant! s with the following experience
- 5+ years of MSL experience, primarily and recently in Oncology or Urology (Solid Tumor is preferential, Prostate Cancer MSLs will be given first priority)
- They are looking for someone who is a cultural fit to a high achieving, small team.
- Someone who has worked on special projects will be given first priority
- Someone with pre-existing relationships in the GU Oncology arena preferred
