Job Summary The Staff Nurse I is a professional nurse who with minimal supervision assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of surgical patients, and their families when appropriate, that c! ome to the Operating Room for a Surgical Procedure. While all the roles of Nursing are important, primary emphasis is placed on the Practitioner and Educator roles. Education Graduate of an accredited School or Nursing Experience Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Current BLS Certification required. Current Alabama Registered Nurse License required
